Stream II Requirements:
- The business is Canadian-owned
- The business is for-profit
- The business has 1 to 499 employees
- The business has had at least $500,000 in annual revenue in 1 of the last 3 years (up to $100M
annual revenue)

- A current state assessment of your business. This will help us understand your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in relation to technology and provide a baseline for measuring progress.
- A technology options analysis. With our expertise, we will identify and evaluate various digital solutions that can address your business challenges and align with your goals. We will also consider the feasibility, suitability and affordability of each option.
- A digital strategy and benefits statement. We will define your vision, mission and objectives for digital transformation and outline the expected benefits and outcomes of adopting digital solutions. We will also review your existing digital strategy and capabilities and identify any gaps or areas for improvement.
- An implementation roadmap. We will prioritize the key actions and initiatives that need to be taken before, during and after the adoption of digital solutions. We will also provide high-level project plans, timelines, dependencies, and costs for each initiative.

BDC 0% UP TO $100K 60 MTH LOAN CRITERIA
- as part of CDAP and have received your grant OR
- under another recognized digital adoption program and submitted it to CDAP Loan amounts
- Business revenues of $500,000 to $5 million: loans between $25,000 and $50,000
- Business revenues over $5 million: loans between $25,000 and $100,000 Terms
- The loan has a 5-year term with 12-month capital postponement (total of 6 years).
- There are no fees.
- You have 6 months from the completion of your approved plan to make a loan request.
- You must meet BDC credit worthiness requirements.
WAGE SUBSIDY CRITERIA
Businesses that are eligible for CDAP’s Boost Your Business Technology and have completed their digital needs assessment can apply for a wage subsidy of up to $7,300 to hire youth talent to support your digital transformation. Before completing your hire, please note the following eligibility criteria for youth hires:
- Be aged between 18-30.
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or refugees with the right to work in Canada.
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary program of study in college, university, CEGEP, Polytechnic institute or private training institution in relevant fields; or
- Recent graduates from college, university, CEGEP, Polytechnic institute, or private training institution (digital skills programs).

For greater certainty, a recent graduate is a youth who has graduated from a post-secondary institution (in Canada or an international school) within the past two years. Participating youth must be:
- Canadian citizens,
- permanent residents, or
- refugees with the right to work in Canada.
- The Youth must not have previously benefited from a completed CDAP Boost Your Business Technology Work Placement. Youth having previously participated in Grow Your Business Online placements are eligible.
STREAM I – UP TO $2,400 GRANT QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
You can get funding through CDAP if your business:
- Is a for-profit business (including for-profit social enterprises and co-operatives)
- Is registered or incorporated.
- Is consumer-facing (sells goods and services directly to end consumers)
- Has at least one employee (other than the owner) OR had at least $30,000 in annual revenue in the most recent tax year
- Commits to maintaining a digital adoption strategy for six months
- Agrees to participate in follow-up surveys, share data about the experience, and have its name published as a grant recipient
Your business is not eligible if it is:
- a corporate chain, franchise or registered charity
- a representative of a multi-level marketing company
- a brokerage firm, such as real estate agents, investment advisors, insurance agents, etc.
- a business that is engaged in online reselling or drop-shipping reliant on third-party suppliers
- a wholesale or distribution business and manufacturer (unless you sell directly to consumers)
Applying for CDAP Stream II: What You Need
To apply for the CDAP Stream II, business owners will need:
- Their personal online banking login information: This is necessary for identity verification and the process might involve banks like RBC, CIBC, etc.
- Business Number: This is the same as the GST/HST number.
- CRA Login: They will need their CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) username and password. If you can’t login directly, you must be able to sign in with a partner on the device being used for application.
